@zarul

Thanks for your post. I have been on 75mg every night for the last 3 months. It has helped with the pain in my lower back and a pinched nerve on my left side. I had facet blocks in Nov which lasted 2 months . My condition got worse after and my doctor suggested lyrica. It has been helping but it don't comfortable when I don't take my dose.

I'm having concerns about where all this is going for me ...your condition looks similar

Welcome @zarul, Concerns about where all this is going is probably the first question a person asks when dealing with nerve pain. You are definitely not alone. It's good to scan through the different neuropathy discussions to learn what others have found helpful and shared. Have you done any research on complementary or alternative treatments for neuropathy?

The LDN Trust recommends starting at 1mg for 10 days and moving up 1mg every 10 days till 4.5 mg. I felt relief of pain after a few weeks. It’s been working well for me after a year & a half.
No side effects now ~ just find the best time to take your dose. Start low & go slow.

I’m down to 50mg of Lyrica once a day now. My neurologist wants me to go to zero in another week. Since my pain is under control from LDN & Lyrica causes some swelling & stiffness in my ankles, going to zero should be ok. The numbness is still terrible & I have no solutions for it.

I cannot take Lyrica. It helped tremendously but has affected my memory and depression.
I am currently on Gabapentin and hydrocodeine. The pain in my feet and hands never go away. I have tried so many lotions and creams to no relief.
I have be in pain for almost 3 years now with very little relief. Been to so many doctors.

You might respond to carbamazepine (Tegretol), a different seizure medicine. I did.
