Fatigue every afternoon - How can I get more energy?

@willow5

I know how you feel! I’m 72. Every afternoon the last month I had to nap. How often has this been going on? What does your doctor say?

I had blood work done, doc says everything is fine. I a pondering taking like 8 mg of iron tablets, just to check. I’m vegan and may not get as much iron as a carnivore.

I never understand why when some results are “low” docs don’t address that. My MCH (not sure what that is, has been low for five years). Anyhow, if I’m tired i have to nap, no use fighting it. It is usually not a refreshing nap for me, I feel dragged out the rest of my day. I do get hard on myself because I want to keep enjoying my day, but I decided to accept it, not get mad at myself because I’m tired. It seems to be lifting. It is kind of cyclical.
Good luck!

@willow5, MCH measures the average amount of hemoglobin in your red blood cells. Hope that helps.
