Your poor daughter, I am glad she is seeking help from your provider. Hopefully it will get better when she is out of 1st trimester.

I do not have any advice from personal experience, but did find an article on Mayo's News Network on subject that list ideas. Some you already mentioned. Article is from 2015, but advice still applies:

10 Tips To Help Survive Nausea During Pregnancy
https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/10-tips-to-survive-nausea-during-pregnancy/
Another article recommended peppermint and acupressure. The pressure point to reduce nausea is located at the middle of the inner wrist, three-finger lengths away from the crease of the wrist, and between the two tendons. Locate and press firmly, one wrist at a time for three minutes. This is related to suggestion of wrist band to apply pressure to wrist for motion sickness and pregnancy nausea. Search on Sea Bands or Acupressure Bands

Don’t take any medications for nausea or vomiting without talking to your provider first.

Is your daughter able to maintain her weight?

Thanks for the advice. I will pass on the information to her. She feels like she has lost some weight but she has a little extra on her so I'm hoping its ok. She is resting a lot because she has low iron as well.
