I was the same way. My MRI showed synovitis fluid around my hip joint. I could now walk without a walker or crutches and even then my pain was an 11. I had my hip replacement on the right side in September 2023 so almost a year now and I still cannot lift my leg from a seated position or onto my bed, unless I manually help lift it. It’s worrying me. I will have to have my left side replaced soon also.

Wow, That is tough. You go through the hip replacement surgery and it doesn’t completely live up to what you expected.
My right hip replacement in 2016 was completely successful. I didn’t even think about my hip after that. It was bone on bone also, but I was able to walk without assistance before the surgery. I was also 8 years younger.
This left side has the ravages of arthritis and the pain even with a walker is horrible.
I hope you find a physical therapist or a consult to help you.

Were you able to find any solution? I'm the same way after 3 hip replacements.
