I wrote in Oct 2023 regarding applying for disability and being turned down. I acquired a Disability Attorney. In June of this year, all of a sudden, I recvd money in my bank account. No letter or any communication. My attorney wasn’t aware either. So yes, it was approved. I highly recommend getting an attorney because most I know who apply are turned down 1-4 times. SSI paid my attorney directly from my funds. And sent me the rest. I think it’s a small price to pay for less headaches and peace of mind.

I got an attorney for three years my court date Oct 21 and the letter says it takes six months after your court date to get the money. I had an attorney since the beginning
