Has anyone experienced muscle loss with Tymlos treatment?

I have been using Tymlos for 9 months. I have lost most of my muscle mass. My phosphorus is elevated, but all other tests are normal. My doctors are not concerned. I am eating a high plant protein diet but I cannot gain weight. I am active all day but have not been consistent with a resistence exercise regime.

Hypercalcemia with Tymlos can cause loss of appetite and muscle weakness. Even though the calcium levels were normal, it is often necessary to obtain several draws to detect hypercalcemia. Loss of apetite is a flag that your doctors should be aware of.

Thankyou for your interest. I have had a 24 hour urine for calcium done. And serum calcium is consistantly low normal. So hypercalcemia doesn't seem to be the problem.
