Has anyone experienced left sided abdominal pain several months after a Reclast infusion?

I was on Reclast 5 years and no problems, plus did good job on my Dexa Scan-

Did it go away by itself? Or how did you stop it?

I had 2 Reclast infusions when I was 53 and 54. I made gains but quit taking it because of an insurance change. Fast forward 10 years and my spine bone density results came back -4.5. I took Reclast for 2 more years and my spine bone density improved to -4.1. Since most of that gain came the first year, my doctor put me on Prolia. After one year of Prolia, my spine improved to -3.6. I just had my third Prolia shot. I am fortunate to not have side effects. I will probably be on Prolia the rest of my life. The point is, most of us with osteoporosis will be on a bone drug the rest of our lives. Reclast was only temporary the first time I took it.

RECLAST was a nightmares for my body!!! Experienced 6 months of horrible joint pain. Didn’t have arthritis before, but infusion left me being diagnosed with it. A few years later was diagnosed with bone spur in my spine. I was told RECLAST could have been responsible. It grows bone, but not picky about where to put it. Oh my a nightmare!!!

My endocrinologist says:

The Reclast medication likely lasts for about 2 years. If you did a partial dose (which is indicated in some conditions), the soonest you would be able to get another dose that is covered by insurance would be 1 year. The partial dosing you’ve read about has likely been done only in studies that have funding to support that kind of protocol.

Partial dosing is likely very effective though I don’t believe there are actual head to head trials on this. Less medication means the effects would likely wear off sooner

These are the questions I asked:

Will you prescribe a 20% test dose of Reclast?
Does it last for three months!

Is a 50% dose is as effective as a 100% dose?

if you have pain it COULD BE because it it boosting your immune system to do its job.
Also, the bone spur.... who knows....I'd be cautious about saying the medication is responsible. I have them all over my spine without the medication. it is common for post-menopausal women. it's kinda like wirey hair and facial hair growing after menopause - there are bone spurs! (osteophytes!) 😩 they don't necessarily do anything bad unless they press on nerves.
