Evenity and belly fat?

Here’s my take on belly fat. Most of us with osteoporosis have lost body height (inches). If that is the case, the fat redistributes to other parts of the body, such as arms, thighs, breasts, etc. Possibly that is why we see larger bellies. I have noticed my very thin thighs are no longer so thin … so some fat must have redistributed itself there.

I'm about to take the fourth Evenity injection. After my second one, I gained 8 lbs by the time I took the next shot! But, I agree with you regarding the redistribution of fat. I lost 3 inches due to multiple spine fractures. My osteoporosis is probably due to the radiation treatments for breast cancer and my Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. So, like you, I am trying to focus on how important this treatment is to my bones and "embrace" this plumper version of myself. Thankfully, I was not overweight prior to Evenity.
I hope your treatment
had positive results.
