IBS
I have tried about everything to get rid or ease the symptoms of IBS. I have had a colonoscopy, celiac test, ultra sound on uterus, endoscopy, food allergy test, etc. I had my gallbladder removed and that helped some. I have tried probiotics, dicyclomine, imodium, colestipol, staying away from wheat and corn products. Right now I am taking Aloecure and that isn't helping. Nothing seems to help ease the symptoms. Imodium will take care of the diarrhea when that is the problem but I still have to deal with multiple bowels movements and feeling of still having to go all day long, every day. Does anyone have any other ideas of what a person could try?

Where is it exactly
I’m healthy except for IBS that has no ‘absolute’ triggers.
I was told to eat binding food for breakfast; white rice,
bananas, white toast, but I fall off the wagon by eating tasty whole wheat products. I teach Tai Chi so often I wait to eat after class.
@littlemy could you have fibromyalgia ?
IBS is a side with fibromyalgia.
I have fibro and must limit veggies, salads etc
I have IBS-C. Sometimes my abdomen is so distended that I look nine months pregnant. It is much worse when I am under stress. Linzess helps me a lot.
I just realized that linaclotide is Linzess. Sorry. I take 145 mcg but may ask for higher dose.
Have you tried to go dairy free. Helped me a lot
Hello
As a long time IBS -D sufferer,I can empathize with anyone suffering this disease. Does anyone also experience internal shaking? I was seen by a Neurologist and had CAT scans but they found nothing.
The shaking is more noticible when seated and at times my right bicep will quiver. Some supect nerve damage from taking Doxycycline when I had Pneumonia in 2019. I suspect the link between IBS and the Tremors. It is not life threatening but it sure is annoying. Thanks Alan
Is Collagen ok to take, I am allergic to shellfish.. Someone to me this is good for IBS
