I take Botox for muscle spasms. I would be lost without it. I have piriformis syndrome and dystonia in my neck muscles. It last three months sometimes longer. When it wears off it hurts.
Had it 3 times for back spasms. Didn't work for me.
Did separate me from about $1000 per session after insurance.
I've been to several movement disorder neurology specialist.
Botox did nothing for me except to separate me from approx. $1000 per session even with insurance.
I never got the Botox in my back, because the muscle knot released just prior to me getting it. I’ve read that they are effective, though I guess it varies by person.
Now, I did get Botox in my forehead and had great results! Lol May get some more pretty soon.
