@cavlover If these are saltwater pools, then I think that Dr Joe Falkinham's rule of thumb that saltwater is not a good host for NTM would apply. After all, that's why we neb 7% saline.
But there doesn't seem to be any research...

This sounds like a once in a lifetime opportunity so if it was me, I'd rather have the experience and do extra nebs for a day or two than pass it up.

Thank you, Sue. I’m going to research the individual springs. I know that the one tomorrow is geothermal heated sea water pools. Not sure about seawater. On the last day I can go to The Blue Lagoon, but I’ll need to research it.
I have experienced these in Costa Rica years ago before my diagnosis. I feel like Iceland’s water and air are so fresh vs the hot and humid air of Costa Rica.
