Is oral CBD oil helpful for nerve pain?

I am looking into using CBD oil for nerve pain relief. I am not currently taking any prescription meds, but I do take a variety of supplements, including a multi-vitamin, extra vitamins D3 and C, omega 3, a baby aspirin, curcumin, turmeric, berberine, and magnesium. I also take melatonin and diphnhydramine (for sleep).
I should note that I have stage 3 melanoma, which is partly the reason for all of the above.
Does anyone taking CBD use some or all of these?
Thanks!

I seriously injured my lumbar muscles by lifting heavy jumping gas powered equipment for 5hrs. It wasn’t even my job. The muscles are all scar tissue and my Dr. told me as arthritis sets in, the nerves won’t move freely and cause lumbar pain. He was right as 12 years ago it started burning. My son lives out of state and claims UPS left a package for someone on his steps. He found “Charlet’s Web” CBD oil that was $300+ a bottle and sent it to me. It never helped or changed pain like taking fish oil. I can’t speak for issues like stage 3 melanoma as I may develop that as sun screen in the 70’s was dirt! Buprenorphine/Naloxone is used for opioid dependency issues. A patch may help, but it blocks brain receptors that opioids work on. Side effects is teeth decay, back pain. I have a jello film under the tongue so a patch will not affect teeth. A pain management specialist may have a co-pay but would perhaps best for your issues. Some take the melatonin with a 5mg diazepam to sleep. I get 6 hrs at best. Hope the best for the best!
