Mucus in throat

I have a similar issue. My mucus is very sticky and ends up in my throat where it tickles. Coughing it up doesn't always work. So, being a huge castor oil fan (I have used it for various reasons on my body, and found it to be a miracle product), I started putting it on my throat. I can feel the mucus dripping down my throat and removing it from the area it tickles. Of all the oils, castor oil goes the deepest under the skin. It is known to remove toxins from the body as well. Until I find something better, this works for me. Good luck!

Good afternoon. I believe you are currently being treated for MAC, is that correct?
Have your doctors advised you to do airway clearance, and to use nebulized saline to loosen the sticky mucus so you can cough it out?
