The lump could be from the radiation. My nurse at the radiation center told me this is a side effect of radiation. One of the side effects besides burning etc. . I believe she called it radiation fibrosis . She said it usually shows up a month afterwards. But can not show up till a year down the road. But usually not longer than that. She was just trying to say, if I feel something funny, don’t freak out and get scared, but do let them know.
So sorry to hear this.
You've been through such a lot & done amazingly well. I pray you'll do the same this time & hope you've a good support system of loving people to help you again to recover & heal..sending love x

This 5 yr mark seems to be critical year for reoccurrence but SO happy yours was found at an early stage! So many reoccurrences seem to be caught-why is this? Did an MRI pick up-I have dense breasts and my lobular is sneaky! Good luck-xoxo

Thank you so much! I’m planning to have DMX next year and very nervous about it. 😰
Sorry to hear that. I’m 2.5 years on Anastrozole and having a local recurrence. Ugh
Radiation in my future which I hoped to avoid. Very concerned about side effects .
