Again Shelley, it is personal choice. Cold water irritates my gut and I feel cold and uncomfortable. I prefer warm water, and it warms my stomach. Maybe Asians are different lol.

Helen,
Thanx for answering my silly questions. I just 🩵, in today's society everything seems to have a discriminatory element... and you are bravely proud of saying YOU might be different, even if it is just warm water 😉🦋 lol

I have IBS-D and am gluten free. When I drink cold water I may as well have been glutened. I don't have Celiac but gluten sensitive. Probably due to the fact that I have something called CVID it's one of the conditions you can get if you have Primary immunodeficiency. I do infusions of gammaglobulin IgG to get other peoples antibodies because I don't make any of my own. I also have low IgA which can cause gastric issues.

@helen1000 maybe so, as I am East Indian and I cannot drink cold water either! I prefer warm or room temperature water. In North America people seem to like ice in their water - or at least chilled water - and other cold drinks so I always have to request no ice when eating out but sometimes even the water with no ice comes chilled, so now I just ask for a cup or mug of hot water. lol.
