After every imaginable and referred doctors - I went back to square 1 - podiatry. I have seen neurologist, vascular doctor, orthopedic, heart - all diagnosed as idiopathic neuropathy and not really interested or committed to a patient. I use a lot of homeopathic now but in researching discovered this surgery and found a local doctor that performs it. Duh!

I will report my results as it is a 4-8 week recovery. If successful I will have right leg done.

Update: I had surgery on August 1, 2024. It has been a long, painful recovery, and I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was NWB for 30 days, and was recently given a boot - PT is helping. Still, unfortunately, the incision on the side of my foot is healing slowly making it impossible to wear the boot without pain and aggravating and opening the incision. Sadly, my hope is to return to the level of pain I had before surgery. I wish I could recommend this surgery - at this time, I do not.
