Carnivore Diet for Neuropathy - Possible management/cure?
Anyone come across giving up all plants as a management or cure? Ever try it. I did and the results were amazing. Plants have built in poisons and those poisons reek havoc on our bodies. I am not a fan of the carnivore diet but at least my cramps, burning and pins and needles stopped.

All meat diet would not include bread, fries etc. I did very strict keto for about 4 months. I felt fine actually good but it didn't help my feet neuropathy. I'm not sure if it's good or bad I just quit is bc I missed bread, potates, etc
I understand your comment. This is my second attempt at a no-sugar diet, processed food...I lose weight, I feel good, but it never has an effect on my neuropathy. I recently read Sugar Crush by Dr. Richard Jacoby (highly recommend it) and it confirms how bad sugar is for all of us. The neurologist ordered a MRI Lumbar to compare to 1 year ago - I will wait for those results - could be my spine? I have also eliminated my 500 mg metformin, hormone pill. I am still taking simvastatin, Vitamin D, and an allergy pill daily, along with a 5mg melatonin at night- will probably eliminate simvastatin next. Blood work again in December, it should be interesting.
The carnivore diet is extremely restrictive, consisting entirely of meat, fish, eggs, and small amounts of low-lactose dairy.
Do doctors recommend the carnivore diet?
"This is more of a fad diet than one that would be recommended by nutrition experts and the medical community. If you’re interested in trying the diet, talk to your doctor about your existing health issues and concerns and you can determine together if this is right for you."

I've been carnivore for 2 months and my neuropathy is nearly gone. As a result, I'm hiking trails again.
All plant-based foods are toxic.
Thats great to hear. Do you know the cause of your neuropathy? Are you diabetic?
Turns out, ALL plant-based foods are toxic to humans. Eliminating all plant-based foods eliminates the cause.
The carnivore way of eating is how humans were meant to eat. Eating only meat, eggs, raw butter, raw milk, water, and sea salt is what humans require to be truly healthy. Anything outside of this "restrictive" list doesn't promote health. Your entire career is based upon nutritional pseudoscience.
That’s totally opposite of what my rheumatologist and neurologist told me to eat. I was told no milk products, nothing with sugar, no butter (butter has inflammatory things added even real butter) and no salt. Only olive oil no other oils. No flour or grains including oatmeal. No bread can only eat Ezekiel bread that has no flour. No pork induces inflammation due to the fact they do not sweat.
Red meat only twice a month grain feed only, fish wild caught, hormone free chicken and turkey. No broccoli or cauliflower if you have thyroid conditions. No sodium products induce inflammation.
I wouldn't follow a lick of what he recommended to you. Follow his advice to your detriment. He has skin in the game of keeping you sick.
