Is Evenity next?

The good thing about injections in the doctors office is that its free when the doctor injects it, but my Tymlos cost $600 a month (my portion) because I inject it myself. Also, how soon did you see positive results with the Tymlos. I've been on it 7 months and no change with my osteoporosis. Also did your heart race soon after the injection?

Hi Diane…I only had a $20 co-pay with Tymlos thank God. My insurance covered the rest. I began Tymlos in June of 22 and in October of 23 I had a 10.3% improvement in my spine. Worse in my hips but I just had another scan done and had an additional 3.4% improvement in my spine and 2.5% in my hips. So I’m pleased. I just began bioidentical hormones last month and hope that will hold my gains but my doc wants me on Evenity for further improvement.
Yes I did have racing heart after my injections but then decided to inject at night before bed so I didn’t notice them if there was an increase in heart rate.
This med is one of the best and I had very few side effects…some bone pain, nausea, weight gain, but nothing that would cause me to stop.
I pray you will see some great gains…stay the course, it’s worth it! Rose 🌹
