For a few months, I had what felt like I would describe as low blood sugar. I was lethargic and weak And didn’t have the energy to get more than small tasks in the house done. I am 72 and take blood pressure medication now, but before that all started, I was pretty active all day every day. I went over my meds with my doctor and after a lot of reading, I suggested dropping the beta blocker I was taking. They not only made my blood pressure low, but my heart rate would frequently get and stay in the low 50s. I also started drinking electrolyte base drinks with coconut water in them by body armor, as well as an 8 ounce glass of apple juice when I felt particularly wonky. This seemed to help me get right on many days. I also can no longer drink coffee.😭 When I was feeling almost narcoleptic I thought it would help, but all it did was raise my heart rate to an uncomfortable level very briefly. I don’t know that my comments can help you much, especially without knowing if you take any medication. I have frequently found those to be my culprits, or at least a way to try and get on the right track. Good luck!

My husband had low blood pressure that he monitored over the course of a day. He was very proactive about doing everything he could to keep the bp up and it would still drop down to 90/60. One of the things he did was to read the small-print blurbs that came with his new prescriptions and to go online to read about supplements he was taking. To his surprise he found that some supplements he had been taking forever drove down blood pressure. So, a periodic review paid off.
