omega101 Yes, Gabapentin is the same as Lyrica. They are all apparently in the same class of drugs. Drugs related to Lyrica. "Gabapentin" Duloxetine Amitriptyline Tramadol Venlafaxine Mirtazapine Baclofen
Drugs related to Nortriptyline. Amitriptyline Imipramine HCl Mirtazapine Desipramine Duloxetine "Gabapentin" Venlafaxine. Strange how one works and another one does not and how a Neurologist thinks one medication (same class drug) might work vs. another one. AND Yes Gabapentin does make me loopy which is why I am trying to wean off of it again next week.
