Hello Ginger,
I thought MedicAlert had or has some sort of tracking device for Dementia/Alzheimer patients. Last time I was on the MedicAlert side I didn't see it. Do you know if they have such a program?

@jakedduck1 Leonard, I just called Medic Alert and they told me they do not have a tracking device like you mentioned. They suggested Medical Guardians as a source. But, please look at @jan83404's response! They do contact local authorities.

I think my friend had a GPS tracker on her partner for when he would wander off.
