I have had muscle cramps too, so bad I can't sleep. I asked my neurologist. She said that I have 'Restless Leg Syndrome' in addition to Neuropathy. She tested my iron then told me to take 325 mg of Ferrous Oxide (not any other kind of iron supplement). She has RLS as well, she said her muscle pain and cramps improved after a couple of months of taking 325 Ferrous Oxide. I know that dehydration causes muscle cramps too so I try to remember to drink some water every day; and I run and work out and I know that I should stretch afterward but I don't always remember -- muscle cramps start up again when I forget for a few days in a row ... It's like the 'whack-a-mole' game at the carnival. Just when we get some relief, something else flares up. I hope that helps. Peggy
