You think the sensor is not giving you the right numbers because it measures a different fluid. It will be approx. 15 minutes or so behind a finger stick, so if you need to know exactly what it is at the moment, do a finger stick. With the Libre 3 you don't have to touch the reader to the sensor, just push the button on the reader and it tells you what your BG is. But it too, is going to be a little behind reality. It has nothing to do with where the sensor is placed as long as it is placed where the directions state. It's your life so I would do what the manufacturers say. I'm still in pain, damn it!!! But thanks for caring.

To ksdm: First of all, I'm very sorry that you are still in much pain. Thank you for letting me know that the sensors are approximately 15 minutes or so behind. I truly didn't know that but voila, I've just learned something new and am grateful for you sharing it with me. 🙂
It's good that with the Libre 3 the reader doesn't have to be touched to the senor but just push the button. I like that idea very much. It's impressive and I'm happy the company did that feature. Little joys every day occur.
I do hope that something helps your pain today and that a bird sings a song of joy near you to brighten your day. Feel better soon.
