Hi @mimsymode, I moved your latest post about a saline infiltration to the discussion you started earlier so that people can follow your story more easily. I hope you have seen the helpful replies you received from members like @windyshores @jenatsky and @dbamos1945.
Mimsymode, it sounds like you have been seeking alternative treatments from unregulated facilities. Do I have that right? Do you have a primary care physician?
I had this too! It was very intense itching at the saline (plus who knows what other chemicals) site.
What I did to remedy: I knew I would continue to scratch area, so I put some hydrocortisone cream on a LARGE bandaid over the entire area. It still itched, but the bandaid stopped me from scratching. By next morning it was less itchy, but I left band aid on all day. After 48 hrs I had no itch and removed the bandaid. The redness, irritated skin was back to normal.
I am due for another cancer treatment in 2weeks and will ask the technician about this weird response.
