@pvctom2021 I wonder if your anxiety and all the gut symptoms are related? For me, that has been the case in the past, anyway. Fortunately the 2 Aug appointment is not too far off, and by now you have had the telehealth appt with your primary care person. Were they able to help you at all?

You seem to be such a sensitive person, accepting the feelings and strifes of others along with your own situation. That has to be difficult! So glad to hear your wife is doing better.

Thanks 🙏 for your support and kind reply..my Telemed helped in as much as the doctor knows me fairly well over the years and he practiced a gentle approach over the phone.. advised me to not read too much into the asymmetrical thickening of the sigmoid colon…I’m due for a colonoscopy anyway…but he called me in some Amoxicillin in case the diarrhea started up again…we are living in an extremely crowded aging society where getting a GI specialist
Appointment may take 6 to 7 weeks…but I’m thankful for this visit coming up…I thank you and others here for your warm replies and support…many thanks 🙏 hope you and family are doing well 🙂
