Has anyone had a tight band feeling after total knee replacement?

I’m 14 weeks yesterday from RIGHT TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT. I still have a tight band around my knee. Doc says it’s a marathon not a sprint. I’ll take his word. for now

Keep us up to date. This site is so incredibly helpful to all of us recovering from TKR. The support we give each other means so much to our recovery and well being. There is not ONE outcome of my surgery that was ever discussed prior to surgery, and I have had every complication imaginable. At this point (@16 weeks post op and 9 weeks post Manipulation I have the tight band (scar tissue is a fair indication) and just beginning to walk on my own. Looking at scar tissue removal surgery when it is time. My life has taken a 360; but I try to remain hopeful and am grateful for all the TKR support😊
