Did you have pain in front of your knee when walking?
Your encouragement is very helpful.

Plus I worry about all of the medication. I normally never took anything but a 200mg Motrin now and then.
I still take 1 oxycodone an hour before therapy and use Tylenol and Motrin back and forth the rest of the time.
Love my ice therapy for sure.

I’ve really not had an issue with bruising or swelling from the get go aside from first few days.

I had issues on both sides of my new knee with pain and right size a huge area of numbness always had small are of numbness from 2007 meniscus surgery. My therapist did cupping on the right side which took most pain away (and area of numbness has greatly decreased) and for the rest of side pain he had me use a rolling pin to roll from top to bottom of both knee sides for 3 minutes per side I think daily had TKR in 2021 at first it was very painful to do but over time pain lessened and then pain was gone I have a great physical therapist, DPT Lots of credentials and he utilized deep tissue massage, muscle stimulator, dry needling, taping during my recovery . He provided me exercise regimen which I still do as prescribed squats, squeezing ball. Leg extensions sitting and laying with ankle weights and stationary bike and other exercises
