I am working with all of those Dr’s. The thing is before he quite giving me the methadone all my numbers were in check with medication. I feel it’s from the lack of sleep and the increased pain. The psychologist might be a good option to look into, I’ve not been to one in years. Thanks for the insight, I am making appointments with the other docs, just hard, I am absolutely miserable.

Thanks again

I empathize with you. I love with chronic pain and miserable/depressed. I am getting spine surgery soon due to congenital stenosis/DDD/neurogenic claudication. Have you had spinal injections to help you with pain and do you take melatonin to help you sleep? Your brain does get altered with long-term pain medication. It is sad that pain doctors would abruptly drop their patients knowing how hard it is for them going off cold turkey without other alternatives made available to them. That almost seems criminal. Have you been to a clinic to help you manage withdrawal symptoms?

Correction, live with chronic pain. Definitely don’t “love” it. Lol
