@mikaylar - First off, pay attention to what Jennifer says. She's extremely knowledgeable about such things.

Have you already had any spinal surgery? I assume the answer is "no".

I had the same symptoms with the buttock pain. The pain was often indescribable though it wasn't there 100% of the time. But when it was (I believe the pain radiated from a clenched muscle related to nerve compression) there, WOW did that hurt!

I had lumbar 2-5 full work done 14 months ago and the buttock pain is totally gone.

What doctors have you seen and what have they said about the cause of your pain?

I had an operation for spinal stenosis about a year and a half ago. I get pain in my right hip. Sometimes I use a tennis ball and put it between me and the wall and try to move around in a circle. It helps.

Stretching is important. Walking is good too. If you don't have a dog and you are able to have one, it's a great excuse to walk--and they are great companions. If you don't have a dog, I highly recommend a "rescue." They are a great breed and seem to know you have saved them. I found my last rescues, of all places, on Kijiji!

Another option is Yoga. I met a therapist in the hot tub where I was holidaying. He gave me a lot of advice to do. One was to make sure to take Vitamin E and all those other pills with oil in them. He advised that medically approved cannabis or CBD oil was good too.He also encouraged going to the swimming pool and getting either a kick board or a foamy and put your arms on it and kick up and down the pool
Dr. Gundry advises to take about a tablespoon of good grade olive oil is good for you as well. Keep trying until you find what works.

Got a steroid injection this morning. Also, Flexeril and Aleve to take. Ice and heat. Sciatica they say
