I have had that probelm diarrhea, for many years...presumed to be IBS...but who knows...maybe something to do with Bx, which I have also had for many years.

@narelled23 I was re-reading a couple of the threads and came across this that you wrote.
You do know that IBD is a POSSIBLE contributor for Bronchiectasis.????
I came across this today because I want to post something with regard to gut health but have to finish it. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11617167/
Not a large study but considering the a doctor thought I had it as one time and this article....it is a possibility that it was one of the events that contributed to the lead up of Bronchiectasis for me.

I went on the diet they feel is good to help with IBD, , and for me it did all stop. So hard to know if really was IBD for me at the time.
However, I believe that what happens in the gut does contribute to the big picture of our health, mucus and Bronchiectasis. I don't think they have that answer just yet.
Are you still having problems that you think are related to IBD? Another not fun health problem.
