Winsantor drug testing

Has anyone heard about the product that Windsantor is testing now for Neuropathy? I’m wondering if it is moving forward. I can’t find much information about it.

Doesn't look very hopeful with a lot of risk involved if you invest - https://wefunder.com/winsantor/details. Found this information by clicking on the INVEST IN US button on the WinSantor website - https://winsantor.com/shareholders-services/ which doesn't have a lot of new information on it.

I was really not interested in investing as a shareholder. I would just be willing to donate to a fund that goes to their research. I have thrown away many $$ with no results. In phase 2 they provided proof via testing that new nerves were grown.

I just received an email and posted some information about another new clinical trial of a similar product for helping diabetic peripheral neuropathy if you are eligible for participation. Here's a link to the post in another discussion - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/1107523/.

Winsantor is making progress towards phase 3 trial and also are starting to seek to make expanded use available. Currently they are only accepting applications for persons with diabetes but may expand to chemical inducted neuropathy and idiopathic neuropathy. This is a link to the application form. .https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdCzF_qWF8MuvqMX_f77ri09f0PQ4U2SHsPbHZHJfkEYFf4dg/viewform

Avoid as much sugar as possible. For sleep aids maybe try Melatonin! About 10mg per night.

You really need to start melatonin at a lower dose. 10 mg is a lot. Higher doses can cause some weird dreams! 😉 I've been taking melatonin for a long time...started at 1 mg and I now I take 3 mg. Occasionally 4 mg.

John, Thank for new information. It seems that this new drug you posted about is trying to address pain. It doesn't seem to mention actual nerve regeneration which winsantor's drug does. During phase 1 and 2 trials nerve biopsy and EMG showed actual nerve improvement in winsantor trials. Luckily I don't have pain but my feet tingling and stiffness has progressed to my knees.

Winsantor is now starting to gather information from people who are diabetic who are interested in applying for early compansionate access for their new drug. At this time it is only open to those with diabetic PN but the form doesn't let you complete it unless you have type 1 or 2 diabetes. But hopefully for the rest of us this it will be expanded. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdCzF_qWF8MuvqMX_f77ri09f0PQ4U2SHsPbHZHJfkEYFf4dg/viewform
