My CA 27.29 antigen was rapidly increasing. No symptoms. I had CT of abdomen and chest along with bone scan. The CT show a liver lesion. I then had a MRI of abdomen and a liver biopsy. The cancer was in Segment 7 of the liver. I underwent an ablation and am now 1 year out and scans look good.
My oncologist is also following Signatera lab. It is positive for circulating tumor DNA. At this time she is monitoring q3 months to see if it is rising or falling.
