I definitely have a swollen belly from the first and second shot. But am wondering if the same type of swelling would occur on legs or arms, wherever the site of the injection. I have mine done in my abdomen due to PMR in thighs and legs and also due to the fact there is more fat at my abdomen than leg/thigh area.

@susanew read that evenity can cause fluid retention. May be cause of weight gain.
I had mine done in the upper arms. Are they letting it warm up a bit and can you take a blue ice pack to ice your arm right after shots

I have mine done on my arms and take an antihistamine and Tylenol beforehand. I have had no injection site swelling or hardly any redness. That may be why. Anything new in your body can cause an inflammatory response and an antihistamine can sometimes quiet that.
