Hi, Not sure about the degree of green. I would say my mucus is yellow with green sort of between in color. Two years now. I have never taken any medication but nebulize two times a day, exercise and do yoga. The lying position facing up produces gobs of mucus until it becomes bubbly white. I feel way better after this having to always clear my throat and cough before nebulizing and exercising. my IF doctor and Pulmonologist thinks that is I can expell mucus daily and have good breathing then its ok. My IF disease doctor says if things get bad, he would put me on the big three. So far Ive been able to live with bronchiectasis/MAC this way. It does take being on top of this routine. Hal

Thank you for your description of what it becomes "becomes bubbly white" I always have a feeling of "mucus/phglem" caught at the back of my throat that comes up to my throat, of which I mostly suck up and clear out of my throat...however...it just keeps coming up, hardly any relief. When I do this it is gel like and mostly bubbly white. In between your airway clearance sessions during the day do you continue to have the bubbly white, gel like substance come up to the throat and then clear it out of your throat?
