Violent cramping
Had surgery in December for bowel blockage due to adhesions. I still have horrible cramping following bowel movements. What should I do to eliminate this?

What does your gi Dr say to do? I have uc as well as other gi issues. I feel it’s best to always ask my dr what to do? Or his nurse? Hope you feel better. 😊
Unfortunately the emergency surgery in December was in Colmar France. They saved my life. But living in Lafayette, Louisiana has its drawbacks as I've yet to find a decent gastro Dr. To help me. None of them help, just tell me to "deal with it." I desperately need a good gastrointestinal doctor.
Have you had your primary care doctor recommend a colon rectal Dr.?
It is past GI Dr time.
Can only recommend chamomile and peppermint tea.
No Dr should ever tell you to just deal with a health issue or pain. I’m sorry for that. Can you travel to another state? City? With someone with you? Maybe do research and make some calls for a good gi dr. Ask your pcp?
Tried; begged pcp for new GI. She won't do it, saying he's the best. He only asks for best pi,za places...does nothing. Tried contacting other Dr's. In Lafayette but unfortunately they all work in same clinic, so won't see me. Really bummed, needing some good care.
That is crazy. Have you checked with your insurance for other providers?
