Hi, @junny500 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Sorry to hear about the discharge.

Hoping that @lifesha12 and @poppysmith may have some insights on the residual discharge. @travelgirl and @contentandwell may also have some thoughts.

In the meantime, here is some Mayo Clinic information on chlamydia https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/chlamydia/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20355355. This section may have applicability to what you mentioned about the discharge: "In most cases, the infection resolves within one to two weeks. During that time, you should abstain from sex. Your sexual partner or partners also need treatment even if they have no signs or symptoms. Otherwise, the infection can be passed back and forth between sexual partners."

Other than this discharge @juny500, how are you feeling?

@lisalucier @junny500 Sorry, but I have no experience or knowledge about vaginal discharges or urinary tract discharges.

I do have experience with having to urinate frequently -- urinary incontinence -- and know that citrus, carbonated beverages, coffee, tea, and chocolate can exacerbate the problem. I rarely drink carbonated beverages now, but I do continue to drink coffee, and occasionally tea and do not find coffee to be a huge problem. I read that coffee is not really a diuretic in people who are acclimated to drinking it, and I believe that to be true of me. I also do eat chocolate and have not noticed that to be a problem for me either.
