Cellcept is being used to fight the pemphigoid you can ask your doc but not sure it will fight MG. Mestinon or pyridostigmine is best replacement for long term cause you can’t stay at that dose of prednisone. It a unique and fairly rare. Doctors don’t have a lot of answers yet. Hope you have more success

Wanted to provide a bit of an update. Since Dr Madigan, Neurologist at Mayo, put me on a regiment of 90 mg of pyridostigmine (Mestinon), 4 times a day , I am in a much better place with my singular eye OMG. My lid stays above my pupil 90% of the time. Bright sun light is when my right eye struggles the most but is still just above my pupil. I think the 2nd lid lift surgery on my right eye only did give the pyridostigmine a better chance to work, as before, when the doctors would ask me to look up, m right eye was almost closed. Now some people looking at me don’t always know I gave an issue.
Bottom line? trying things! Just might find there may be a solution that will help improve quality of life.
