Wanted to provide a bit of an update. Since Dr Madigan, Neurologist at Mayo, put me on a regiment of 90 mg of pyridostigmine (Mestinon), 4 times a day , I am in a much better place with my singular eye OMG. My lid stays above my pupil 90% of the time. Bright sun light is when my right eye struggles the most but is still just above my pupil. I think the 2nd lid lift surgery on my right eye only did give the pyridostigmine a better chance to work, as before, when the doctors would ask me to look up, m right eye was almost closed. Now some people looking at me don’t always know I gave an issue.
Bottom line? trying things! Just might find there may be a solution that will help improve quality of life.
