Yes, there is a lot to learn and really worth researching. Many are against and/or do not believe, but I do what is best for me. They have certainly given me a better quality of life and have been worth the risk of "dangers"......
My neighbor got me started on the oils, my first one was Frankincense. She had a kidney disease, and was on so many medications that were making her sick. One of those was prednisone . She was young and was not done with having a family, but was told not to get pregnant due to the medications. On some of her family's urging she starting treating herself with certain oils. In one month she got off of all her meds, left her doctor stunned , he could not believe it. Of course she still continued to see her doc and get regular checkups to make sure all was ok. In a few months she went on and had a child, and later another after that. She no longer has a kidney problem. A friend of mine had her husband in hospital with cancer, her doctor told her to put the frankincense on bottom of his feet and at the area where his cancer was. Unfortunately he didn't make it, he was too far gone. Some of these oils are like antibiotics and very powerful, we have to be careful on their use.

Good luck

There are always going to be people who are skeptical about anything and everything. And they could have good reason. I think the takeaway is we all need to figure out what works for us and use caution. Usually I will run things by my doctor who is Asian and open to alternatives. I had a naturopath but she's no longer in our area. I loved having her on board and should proably try finding a new one.

That is amazing how the oils have helped you and your friend. I know people who also swear by them. It's definitely something worth exploring.
