Steroids & Sharper Thinking & Memory Anyone?

Every time that I take a Prednisone steroid taper or get Cortisone injections in my shoulders or knees, my thinking & memory is clearer and sharper. Anyone else experience this? It's amazing to me.

My short term memory has declined some (hasn't just about every one that is 60+?)) and even that is better. Any comments appreciated. Blessings & Prayers to all you wonderful folks on here.

covidstinks2023, I haven't direct experience with steroids, but conversations with both my mother and brother at times when they have been on steriods lead me to verify your experience.
Some experience a euphoria and there is more clarity of thought when you are free of pain. It could be that it clears you head of congestion, which can make thinking easier. But the rapid fire thinking, depth of though and ensuing conversations with those two already highly functioning individuals makes me appreciate your post.
