My mother who is 92 years old with bone on bone knees is considering having PRP next week. Cost to her is $500. I am thinking it will be worth trying because of the pain she is in. Her doctor says it will take 1 hr 15 minutes to do the procedure and will come to her room in assisted living. He said it will take 6-8 weeks to see effectiveness of it. Her doctor has just started doing this procedure and is new at this. He is a geriatric specialist doctor. We shall see. Any comments from anyone?

My kid saw results in 24 hours after ten years of pain. Hope the PRP works for your mother!
