Probably a long shot, but wondering if anyone had tried HBOT for Long Covid or at least seriously looked into it. There are a couple limited studies that showed good results, however it’s not FDA approved for LC so insurance won’t cover it, making it extremely expensive.

Following.

Started to look into it , I’m in the Uk so everything non traditional has to be self funded outside the NHS. Research seems to be pro for LC, but depends on various symptoms! Found a localish charity offering sessions at about £25 ( not sure if they would consider LC worthy), but would be at least 4 hours a trip to get to, most, nearer, more like £150-250 per session. So looked into hiring and buying a portable ‘chamber’ to use at home. The hireable one was worth considering as set up by specialist from firm, but never got as far as asking about oxygen, and costs. If you could find a few local people who would benefit too you might make it an affordable price to give it a go for 2-4 weeks. Like many LC ‘cures’ or even making me feel abit better (notably very high Bp at rest but very low BP on standing so faint), everything seems worth a try but this is a bit pricey for a gamble on benefiting.
