This article by Mayo Clinic explains D&C (dilation and curettage), why it is done and what you can expect. http://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/dilation-and-curettage/basics/definition/prc-20013836 A general anesthesia is given for the procedure, so you will be unconscious and will not feel any pain.

I certainly can understand your being frightened. What concerns you the most Deb? When are you going to have the D&C?

My main concern is what the fluid filled cyst is. It looks uncommon to have one in the uterus. I am post menopausal, and I had a endometrial ablation done in 2013. The actual procedure hasn't been scheduled yet, waiting for the call. Might be a blip now, I received blood work results today , and my glucose is 104.
