Any suggestions to help with blood bruising on arms?

I too am a retired RN. I too got the bruises. If you check them as in press against, do you feel 'pain' like a bruise or is it just there looking like a bruise? I was getting them on my arms as well as my hands. I was taking daily Asprin 81mg as well as for pain Aleve (naproxen) and Ibuprofen. I use Tylenol for pain now and have dropped daily Asprin. 'Bruises' have mostly stopped. I am not sure if that will help you.

I also stopped ibuprofen. That is the only thing I was taking that could have contributed to thinning my blood. I seem to go in cycles with the bruises, they almost clear up then a new batch cover my arms again! As careful as I try to be, my arms are so sensitive now they’re unavoidable.
