Thank you for sharing. I so appreciate your post. You sound like you are doing a great job of advocating for yourself. Hopefully you have other support and good for you for questioning the latest drug push.
My husband has only had 2 MRIs. No other diagnostic tests. He has been diagnosed from testing and interviews with MCI that is slowly progressing but stable enough that we enjoy life but it is a daily challenge.
I would like him to have a PET scan. EEG? And then how will that be helpful?

@maryvc the PET scan showed that I have Alzheimer’s rather than a different type of dementia.
The EEG revealed slow brain waves.

His neurologist should handle those for him.
I had to ask my doc to test me.
