Thanks for you email. I attribute it to the passive motion machine which they have discontinued tits use. Reason they say is it is hard for the new replacements. I just had new xrays done by the surgeon. I had them done in 2004 and 2006 and in 2016 they show NO signs of wear. gailfaith
I used the passive motion machine for my first knee two years ago but I had the same difficulty getting my ROM. This time I didn't use the machine with same results. I'm just glad that most of the bad pain is gone except when I'm working on getting that ROM which I'm confident will come in time. I have to be thankful that I'm making progress because when I read about others needing further surgery I feel so sorry for them. It's a great operation, but it has to work. Beatricefay
I used the continuous passive motion machine after all 3 surgeries. I wish I could have used it longer than the 2 weeks allowed each tine by insurance.
Speaking for the people who STILL have pain and scar tissue, I can only wonder why people come on here and tell their success stories other than for attention and brag! Also, we are glad for you but frankly do NOT want to hear it. Just valuable insight and information to help.

I'm so amazed that you got up to 120 degrees and then 132 degrees so soon after your TKR. I'm now at 108 after 7 weeks of PT and it has been a struggle. My goal is 115. You are very fortunate to have such a great result. Beatricefay
