Pancreatic cancer-dementia
Has anyone experienced a family member or anyone that after all of the treatments,medicine, infusions and chemotherapy got dementia?My grandfather hasnt ate since i dont know end of may and today he was behaving so weird asking weird questions about people that dont even exist?If yes please help me what did you do in this situation,i m afraid he will even forget my name.

This must be frightening for you. I'm sorry you're going through it. I might contact his oncologist to run the sudden onset of these symptoms by him. Many prayers

there is something called chemobrain that can develop during and after chemotherapy. It includes memory loss and disordered thinking. It mostly resolves within a year. It doesn't sound like what you are experiencing with your grandfather. If he hasn't eaten since the end of May. I would check him into a hospital for a full assessment. If he can't eat, you could get a temporary feeding tube. People can have hallucinations with starvation. This is too big a burden for you to take on alone. Best wishes
Please realize that older folks develop dementia symptoms from a simple UTI infection. Get him checked immediately!
