Thanks for responding to my answer. In regards to the covid gut, I don't think I have too many issues from COVID in that area. I have always had pain until I stopped eating all beef, pork, lamb, etc., due to Alpha Gal Syndrome. AG can be deadly and eating one wrong thing can thrown one into shock one to eight ours after consumption. Doxy was originally prescribed to me because of Lyme Disease. A lot of people cannot tolerate Doxy due to GI issues, but I do okay with the 100 mg a day with food. Doxy currently is the antibiotic of choice for COVID right off the bat, and that I why I thought, well....I had COVID, have odd long term symptoms, so made sense to me to dip into my Doxy that was prescribed for Lyme. But for me, no matter what medication I take for COVID, if I eat mammal, I will be doubled over, or headed for the ER depending on the meat that I consumed. Eating out is nearly impossible. So I am restricted with what I can take (no capsules) but I did have on hand the Doxy tablets. All because of a tick. COVID....all because of a virus bug.

Thank you for responding 😊
Sounds like you have some differing issues to mine. Glad doxy is working for you!

Crazy how a tick bite or Covid virus can wreak havoc on our bodies!

I’d love to hear any updates you care to share over time. I’m still working through if gut is my answer or partial answer…

I think we’re all looking for a treatment and cure - I know I am! So any little link could be an answer!

I appreciate you sharing your experiences. They’re helpful!

Warm Regards!
