@zebes92 quite a few people on this forum have tried or finished Evenity. What would you like to know? It is potent and fast so if you need to get out of trouble with low bone density, quickly, it might be a good choice.
THANKS FOR THE REPLY I AM A BIT NERVOUS TO TRY I SEE SO MANY ON LINE HAVING PROBLEMS. JUST WANTED TO HEAR FRO MORE SOURCES.
Hi @zebes92
I just finished Evenity and am happy to report that I had no side effects, save the usual, redness, swelling and injection site pain for a few days. I had problems with Tymlos, but Windyshores did not. What works for one may not work for another. Best to you as you make your decision. Cheers!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP
It doesn't hurt to try it. Evenity is half gone in 12 days. If you are truly nervous you could try Tymlos or Forteo, which leave your body in a few hours. Tymlos' dosing pen is also adjustable so you can start low and move up. But I think it's a fine idea to start Evenity - since your doctor is suggesting that- and many have no side effects at all.
I have this month only and then I am finished with Evenity and on to Reclast . I had a few side effects like burning feeling down my neck to my shoulder and low back pain . It was nothing I couldn’t deal with .
How long does the burning feeling last?
I might be starting soon
Thanks for posting
I finished 12th Evenity on June 6 with no side effects--except for the very 1st set of injections in my arms, which were extremely sore for several days. So, for sets 2 through 12, I had them in my abdomen with very minimal tenderness. I want to emphasize--very little. I could wear jeans and waisted clothes and did not have any problem at all.
I had a DEXA scan on June 17 with good gains, as far as I can see by the report. I have an appt with my dr. on July 11 to discuss my DEXA scan and follow up medication.
