Tinnitus remains a mystery. However, more research is being done on this now then ever before. Let's all hope and pray for whatever it will take to eliminate it or at least minimize it. The Hearing Health Foundation is working on this. http://www.hhf.org HHF is a non profit research organization. They publish a quarterly magazine and have an informative website.

I have had tinnitus for many years and recently noticed a slight hearing loss. Not bad enough for 3-6 thousand dollar hearing aids, I got a OTC pair for $149. They not only made my hearing better but cut down the tinnitus! I suggest, unless you are really deaf, to try these first, especially if you have tinnitus!!
