I feel so bad for you both, sablegirl and rozy288. I pray that you can get some help.
I’m 72, have had diarrhea issues for years though usually no pain. No one understands when you are having a bad day and can’t go anywhere, they think all you need to do is wear a diaper! Ha I wish.
Your experiences make me thankful for what I have, I can’t imagine having pain every day along with it. I had a bad day yesterday with gut pain, and it’s certainly debilitating.
I’m in Florida also, it’s too hot to even take a walk or use an outside pool. So lack of exercise doesn’t help.

Thank you MaryLouC. This has been the hardest thing to get through. I just feel so helpless and the healthcare system here in Canada is just awful. No one seems to care if you are in pain or not. They think it's perfectly okay to tell you to wait 6 or 8 or 10 weeks to see your doctor. Going to ER is no better. They just do not listen to us. You sit there for sometimes literally days. I know a lady who broke her leg last month and was taken by ambulance to the general where she laid on the bed, in the hallway for 5 DAYS. 5 days. Can you image. They had to rebreak her leg, put in a plate and some pins. It's a wonder she didn't die during that time. It's unthinkable what you go through up here if you get sick. I sure hope your health care is better than ours. You might not be as bad as Rozy and me MaryLouC but it's still debilitating to have to go to the bathroom like that. I've been there and yes, my boss, said to put on a diaper and get back to work. She had no clue. Thank you so much for your kind words and your prayers. I sure hope God listens and grants us some kind of reprieve. It's very hard to stay positive when one is like this. God bless you.
